This past March TiVo revealed that an Android tablet app was on the way , and starting today it’s finally available. The new app is largely the same as its smartphone counterpart in terms of functionality — you can use it browse shows, schedule recordings, search for shows and movies, look up extra information about whatever it is you’re watching, and more. You can do much of this while away from home, but when you’re sitting in front of the TV the app also doubles as a remote for your DVR. While the lack of any new features might be disappointing, for Android tablet owners the added screen real estate should at least make managing your DVR experience a little easier. Continue reading…
